MMS relies on our incredible volunteers to operate our visits – and we are always looking to expand our network.
If you’re interested in joining our team of dedicated volunteers in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, we’d love to hear from you! We are especially interested in receiving applications from people with lived experience of the hostile environment and/or immigration detention, as well as those who are bilingual or multilingual.
Please take a look at the role description before applying. Once you’ve submitted the application form, we’ll be in touch as soon as possible to set up an informal chat.
In our induction process, we provide extensive training, shadowing opportunities and support to all our visitors. As such, we ask that our volunteers are able to commit to visiting for a minimum of six months.
