MMS relies on our incredible volunteers to operate our visits – and we are always looking to expand our network.

If you’re interested in joining our team of dedicated volunteers in Nottinghamshire and Lincolnshire, we’d love to hear from you! We are especially interested in receiving applications from people with lived experience of the hostile environment and/or immigration detention, as well as those who are bilingual or multilingual.

In our induction process, we provide extensive training, shadowing opportunities and support to all our visitors. As such, we ask that our volunteers are able to commit to visiting for a minimum of six months.

MMS is a small, grassroots organisation that relies on volunteers in many areas of our work. We’re always looking for volunteers to join the team, even if you don’t want to take on a visiting role. Please get in touch if you’re keen to get involved with:
